Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- The Dashboard menu shows Live View. If the entry is missing, Live View is not switched on for your organisation. Write to us.
- The VR headset is paired with the Dashboard and switched on, and the AtlasVR training application is running.
- Coaches and managers see all active VR headsets of their organisation.
Watch a VR headset
Section titled “Watch a VR headset”-
In the menu, click Live View. On the Devices page, the View live button also takes you there.
-
Under Headsets, you see the VR headsets that are online right now: with a green dot in the List view, and with online in the Tiles view.
-
Click Watch for the VR headset you want to watch. In the List view, the picture appears on the right under Watching.
-
The Dashboard notifies the VR headset. This usually takes up to 30 seconds, or up to a minute right after you open the page. Then the picture appears.
-
To stop, click Stop in the list or the X on the picture.
Watch several VR headsets at the same time
Section titled “Watch several VR headsets at the same time”- Start all: when at least two VR headsets are online, the Watch all button in the List view starts Live View for all the VR headsets shown. Stop all stops them all.
- Choose the view: at the top right, switch between List (list on the left, pictures on the right) and Tiles (one tile per VR headset). Your browser remembers your choice.
- Pictures per row: in the List view, use Per row to set the maximum number of pictures side by side.
- Search: the search box finds VR headsets by name, by the person signed in or by the current step in the training.
- Only VR headsets that are online: Only online is on by default and hides VR headsets that are not in contact right now. The line offline headsets hidden shows how many there are and shows them again with one click.
A picture that is running stays on screen, even when you search or switch the view.
Large view and full screen
Section titled “Large view and full screen”While the picture is running, open it in a large window with the Show large icon. This always works.
If your computer is on the same network as the VR headset, the Fullscreen icon also appears a few seconds after the first picture. Otherwise, this text appears in its place: Fullscreen is available when this computer is on the same network as the headset. To leave full screen, press the Esc key or click Exit fullscreen.
Live View stops by itself
Section titled “Live View stops by itself”To save the VR headset’s battery, Live View ends when nobody is watching:
- If you do not use the mouse or keyboard for 8 minutes, the Dashboard asks Still watching? Move the mouse, and the picture keeps running. Otherwise Live View ends after 60 seconds.
- If you switch to another tab or minimise the browser window, Live View ends after 2 minutes.
Afterwards, simply start the picture again with Watch.
Notice in the VR headset
Section titled “Notice in the VR headset”At the bottom of the page, under Notice in the headset, you decide whether the person in the VR headset sees a small red dot while someone is watching: for each training application, with Switch on or Switch off. By default, there is no notice. The change reaches the VR headsets by itself, within about a minute.
